‍Oslo, Norway/ Valencia, Spain – 30 July 2026 RESPINOR AS, a Norwegian MedTech company pioneering continuous, non-invasive diaphragm monitoring in intensive care, today announced a distributor agreement with Dextro Medica S.L. for the commercialization of RESPINOR DXT® in Spain.

The agreement marks RESPINOR’s entry into the Spanish market and represents an important step in the company’s continued European expansion.

Under the agreement, Dextro Medica will be responsible for the promotion, distribution, clinical support, and market development of RESPINOR DXT across Spain. The agreement grants Dextro Medica exclusive distribution rights for RESPINOR DXT in Spain, subject to the agreed commercial terms and performance commitments.

Dextro Medica has a strong presence in the Spanish hospital market, particularly within intensive care, and has established relationships with clinicians and healthcare institutions across the country. Its experience in introducing and supporting advanced medical technologies in critical care makes Dextro Medica well positioned to support the introduction and adoption of RESPINOR DXT in Spanish intensive care units.

RESPINOR DXT® is the world’s first platform technology for accurate and continuous monitoring of diaphragm movement in adult ICU patients. The technology is designed to provide clinicians with real-time, operator-independent insight into diaphragm function during mechanical ventilation and weaning. By helping identify patients at increased risk of extubation failure, RESPINOR DXT® supports clinical decisionmaking during one of the most critical phases of intensive care treatment.
