Oslo, Norway / Genoa, Italy – 29 June 2026 - RESPINOR AS, a Norwegian MedTech company pioneering continuous, non-invasive diaphragm monitoring in intensive care, today announced a distributor agreement with GADOmed S.r.l. for the Italian market.

Under the agreement, GADOmed will exclusively represent and commercialize RESPINOR DXT^® in Italy, supporting RESPINOR’s CE mark-approved European launch. The agreement marks a significant milestone in RESPINOR’s commercial expansion, establishing a foothold in one of Europe’s largest critical care markets.

RESPINOR DXT^® is the world’s first platform technology for accurate and continuous monitoring of diaphragm movement in adult ICU patients. The technology is designed to provide clinicians with real-time, operator-independent insight into diaphragm function during mechanical ventilation and weaning. By helping identify patients at increased risk of extubation failure, RESPINOR DXT^® supports clinical decision-making during one of the most critical phases of intensive care treatment.

Italy represents a significant opportunity for RESPINOR.
